Tie dye is everyone’s newest obsession — everyone and their mother is doing it! Literally! Don’t believe me? Check out this small mother and daughter brand that are selling sets! Not to brag or anything, but I was on top of this trend last summer … and I dyed everything from pjs to sports bras ! I am so glad it made a come back!
Everything you will need:
- Fabric Dye: you can either buy a set or individual dye
- Gloves
- Rubber bands (hair ties will work too)
- Spray bottles (if you don’t buy a set)
- Article/s of clothing you want to dye

How to:
- Make sure you work on a space that you aren’t afraid to ruin (putting a trash bag or old newspaper down works)
- Scrunch the garment/s into your design of choice (I achieve my favorite by pinching the middle and twisting to the left so the whole garment is twisted in one giant circle)
- Place rubber bands around the whole thing
- Run the clothes under warm water
- Place selected dye in alternating sections on the damp clothes (I like to start with the lightest color first)
- Let the clothes sit for at least four hours and then wash normally

My favorite color combos:
- different shades of blue
- sherbet colors (pink, peach, yellow)
- blue and orange (try not to overlap or it may turn brown)
- greens and purples
- black, burgundy, pink, orange
- red, pink, coral
- teal, pink, purple
- lime green, teal, orange
XOXO,

What do you think?
